Exo open in Obsidian's right sidebar next to a daily note, asking “What are we working on?” with suggested actions, saved prompts and related notes.

What you get

Chat with Claude or Codex, using the CLI you already have
Reads, links and writes the notes in your vault
Ask about the text you have selected
Ask from your phone, your desktop answers
Imports the MCP servers and skills you already use
Optional starter setup for a new vault

Install

Not in the Community Plugins store yet. Pick one:

Ask a coding agent. The easiest way. Paste this into Claude Code or Codex:

Install the Obsidian plugin from https://github.com/mariomile/obsidian-exo-agent into my vault (.obsidian/plugins/exo-agent).

Or use BRAT. Install BRAT, choose “Add beta plugin”, paste:

mariomile/obsidian-exo-agent

Install by hand

Download main.js, manifest.json and styles.css from the latest release, put them in .obsidian/plugins/exo-agent, then enable it under Community plugins.
